“There is a lovey Iris Farm in Hondo, New Mexico on the way to Roswell.  I had spent the day with my plein air painting friends, it was a lovely day and so many beautiful irises to choose from. I used a pallet knife and a brush to create an impasto feeling which is my favorite way to apply paint.”
