“Late Summer Storm - James Canyon shows a turbulent storm in the mountains near Cloudcroft, New Mexico where I spent many family summers growing up. The canyon runs along the main highway through this mountain village. My painting depicts summer coming to a close and big changes are beginning with the yellow grasses, but there are still some colorful wildflowers that are not yet ready to lose their beauty.”
